These days we have to be so aware of what we buy; We have to read labels so carefully; We have become so aware of words like GMO, green, carbon footprint, dolphin friendly, badger friendly, tree loving, bunny hugging, enviromentally safe...

BUT NOT THIS TIME!

This time we were shopping for specifically enviroment destroying products. This is war! We needed to destroy the eco-system living on our ceiling!!!

THE ECO-SYSYSTEM OF THE BEDROOM CEILING

The answer: MOULD BUSTER!

Oh, how we love you! Kill! Kill! Kill! Yay!

We know this products works and we knew we needed A LOT of it. We bought 5 litres and an industrial sprayer*...

AFTER THE FIRST SRAY OF MOULD BUSTER

After washing the the ceiling and walls with mould buster, we then washed them again with ordinary sugar soap. After drying out, we painted them with standard white PVC.

OH SO LOVELY AND WHITE AND CLEAN

I'm sure you are all wondering, How? Why the ceilings got so mouldy? VENTILATION. Air. We need it, Animals need it. Plants need it. Houses need it too! There are no vents in this room and the previous inhabitants NEVER opened the windows... MMMmmm... Delicious stuffy muggy air...

Never again! I dont care how cold it is! Open the windows!

Next phase: Painters Mate and another layer of paint.

Next Next pahse: Insert a vent. (At some point, it's cold!)

*DIY Tip: When applying mould buster to the ceilings we initially tried to spray it but even with masks there is a toxic smell and it's not safe, so we ended up wetting an old rag with mould buster and manually washing the ceiling and walls. It worked MUCH better.
